Amadores is an artificial cove with light sand and very calm waters—perfect for families. About 800 m long, it is sheltered by breakwaters that reduce waves. It has held Blue Flag status for years and offers accessible entrances, amphibious wheelchairs, and a buoyed area for assisted bathing. Visitor numbers are high in peak season, with a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Services include lifeguards, sunbed and umbrella rentals, showers, and restrooms. There’s free surface parking and a large private underground car park, so finding a spot shouldn’t be a problem. The private parking isn’t expensive. It features a famous floating water park with trampolines, mats, free-fall jumps, and a climbing area, with slippery sections that make for great fun for both kids and adults. The price is around €10 per hour. Check current prices in the Amadores Fun Park listing in the Entertainment section. Surrounded by shops where you can buy drinks and food to take to the beach, umbrellas, towels, clothing, etc., plus bars and restaurants; it connects to Puerto Rico via a comfortable seafront promenade of approximately 1 km. There are bus stops nearby.
